The Challenge

Across Canada, thousands of church buildings sit underutilized throughout the week. While real estate costs soar and new faith communities search for worship spaces, many churches struggle with declining attendance, aging infrastructure, and growing maintenance costs. The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada approached us with a big idea:

"What if we could build an app that helps churches list and rent their unused spaces—just like Airbnb—but aligned with their mission and values?"

💡 The Solution

Logica Softworks partnered with EFC to design and build a platform that enables churches to safely and easily rent their facilities to trusted groups. Whether it's for worship gatherings, community events, counselling sessions, or weddings, the platform empowers churches to serve while earning sustainable revenue.

Custom Web Application with secure user profiles for churches and renters

  1. Smart Booking System that respects church schedules and vetting preferences

  2. Space Listing Interface for rooms, sanctuaries, halls, and multi-use areas

  3. Search & Filter Features for renters to find spaces that suit their needs

  4. Integrated Safeguards including document uploads, insurance checkboxes, and screening flows

  5. Admin Dashboard for EFC to manage onboarding and support
